Carey’s Fabric and Uniform Store is a family run business that was established in 1962 by Mrs. Ivis Carey who passed away in 2016. Mrs. Carey, who hailed from the island of Eleuthera, and who had little formal training, built a reliable and trusted business from the ground up. Her daughter, Mrs. C. Kim Gibson, has since assumed responsibility for the daily running of the store. The store has met the needs of generations on Bahamians in supplying fabrics, notions, school uniforms, many other items and, most recently, quality double layered cloth masks.

Carey's has a wide selection of fabrics including bridal, apparel, school uniforms, upholstery and basics like mikados, cottons, lycras, poplins etc. just to name a few. Our readymade school uniform department is fully stocked with uniforms for almost every school in The Bahamas. At Carey's, you will find crafts, sewing notions, costume jewelry, fascinators, hair accessories, gloves and hosiery. We carry a huge selection of masks in many styles, colors and fabrics.
